Mwah ha ha! I'm leaving in a couple minutes to see Streetlight Manifesto in Baltimore, Maryland again! I saw them in February, and they were incredible. They're playing with some hip-hop band (Gym Class Heroes?) and Whole Wheat Bread (pop punk), but I'm just excited to see Streetlight.

After this, it's off to see The Get Up Kids last show before they break-up in June. That will be great too.

Post some concerts you're looking forward to seeing.

Hmmm.

Too many people from this board live in my state.

Wow, that sounds like a great show. Gym Class Heroes are pretty good, they're not your typical hip-hop group. Their lyrics are socially conscious, and not at all about hoes, smokin' blunts, etc.

And the Get Up Kids. :( I will miss them so.

But I don't really have any good concerts coming up that I can go to. I live in a little podunk town about 5 hours from any major city so it's tough to go to shows.

And Streetlight is insanely awesome. I'd love to see them live. I get so pumped every time I hear that saxophone intro to "Everything Went Numb", so I'd love to experience that live.

I'm going to see Coldplay in August. And I'll probably see the Decemberists in August as well.

Ahhh, it was great. Probably better than the last time. This was their first show kicking off the new U.S. tour. They just got back from Europe, and I could tell they were stoked to be back in the states.

They started with Moment of Violence, which led into Moment of Silence. They played the awesome Point/Counterpoint, which led into Keasbey Nights. They played 9mm from Catch 22 as well. The crowd was crazy. I was right up front the whole time, and the crowd kept on pushing against me and crushing me. I tried to crowd surf, and ended up falling 6 feet on my tailbone on the concrete floor, and that knocked the wind out of me. I did it again, and didn't fall during the encore.

They played The Saddest Song and We Are The Few, which I'm told they rarely play. They even said that they never really play The Saddest Song, but it was great hearing that. We Are The Few was the encore song, and that was the best hearing that as their ending song. Great show, I highly recommend anyone to go see them.

Judas Priest and Queensryche are playing a radio festival here in July. I might go check that out if some other cool bands are on the line up.
