The one called "Trust." Should be at the top. There's some little problems in it - particularly where I accidentally muted a string because my fingers are fat from biting my nails. But I think I can overdub it. Eventually. The guys were getting mad at me because I suck. :(

The vocals need some compression, and you need to fix that guitar distortion :p. Is there any reason the snare drum is panned hard to the left?

I'm atheist, but I like this song, and I don't usually care for worship music. I dig the guitar solo.

Good job, just needs some polish now, IMO. :)

I didn't notice that until I got it home. I had it set from something else trying to compensate for the drum kit's location on the stage (relative to the mains) during live stuff, but forgot to check stuff. If I remember, it was only slightly panned, though.

It's not really a worship song, just a Christian song. Although we are trying to develop a rock sound for worship so worship isn't musically boring to people. In fact, I heard a band this weekend that I can only describe as "hardcore" worship, complete with double-kick and craziness. A bit more than what we're going for, but it was... um... "interesting."

I dunno, sounds pretty isolated on the left to me. Although I am wearing headphones, sometimes stereo imaging sounds a little exagerated through cans.

Christian rock ... rocks.

Which one? Both our guitarists have a very similar sound to their guitar. The first half was a Gibson with a Boss Distortion through a Peavy Tube amp, the second half was either a Gibson or an Epiphone (can't remember) Archtop through a Boss Blues Driver with no amp (because we're poor).

The second half (at 3:30). It sounds like crap (from the lack of amp, I would assume :p), but the solo fits real nice into the song. :)

Hardcore worship music? That just seems... wrong to me.

And your song seems pretty good, just a little rough around the edges. I like the vocals though... it reminds me of someone else, but I can't think of who.

Well, it sounds good in this song, if a little weak at times. But like I said, it reminds me of someone else...

Your tremelo..or whatever they call it..you know...when the voice goes Oooooooooo. Your voice seems to go OoooOoooOooo, and it's a bit shakey at times. Other than that and a few times near the end it sounded like the drums messed up. Good song, just some minor nitpicks.
Think while it's still legal.

I should've maybe mentioned this isn't an "official" recording. Especially since I was starting to lose my voice after singing for 3+ hours.

Ignoring the jesus-y part, I love the feel to it! Your voice is kickass, but the backup voices REALLY degrade the sound, imo.

There's something that just sounds BETTER about a nonprofessional recording. It's similar to live television; it just feels different, and better.
