Another one of my band's weekend recordings:

Patates (Potatoes) - Crappy garage recording.

Rough translation of the lyrics:

I had a farm in Ste-Agathe
Where I grew potatos
I had a cow in a pasture
Who gave me good cheese
So I got on my motorcycle
I drove over to Provigo (a supermarket)
I bought myself some canned gravy
And I got back on my bike singing...

Ah! Potatoes are good!
Good in your belly!
Good like Buffalo Bill who aims from a mile away
Boom! Boom!
And kills the bison
With little cheese curds
Slipping down your throat
Moistened with BBQ sauce
It feels good, good, good in your stomach.
Believe me
Ah! Potatoes are good!

While leaving the stage, Bruce Springsteen
Liked to call in a poutine
During Lent, Pope John Paul
Hides and eats them in a large bowl
As for the General Pinochet
Who, people say, loved them
After a long day of torture
He liked to smell frying grease while singing...

Ah! Potatoes are good!
Good in your belly!
Good like when the torturer takes out his hammer
Tock! Tock!
And nails your drainage canal
When the potatos are greasy
And the gravy sirupy
Whatever the taste of the cheese
It's gonna be good
Believe me
Ah! Potatoes are good!

Alright everybody! Take out your potato-peeler, and on GO we'll all shave our balls! Ok? 1 . 2 . 3 . GO!

Potatoes are good!

Ah! Potatoes are good!
Good in your belly!
Good like when the villager takes out his hand saw
Zouin! Zouin!
And bleeds his pig
Friends, let us concede for once
To the victory of fat
Let's meet up in the kitchen
To peel good potatos for a poutine
Ah! Potatoes are good!

Ah! Potatoes are good!

Not very SOAD-ish (maybe a little), but funny as hell indeed. I like it :)
Think while it's still legal.

Thanks. :)

By SOAD-like, I was mostly referring to the non-sensical lyrics.

My poutine can walk right through the door....

That's Capitaine Revolte. But you play it well.

Thanks. :)

Actually, it's Mononc'Serge and Anonymus. Unless that was also a cover.

Yeah. Mononc' Serge and Anonymus. I get mixed up with all those Quebec Metal bands.
