Bastards, the lot of them. They're completely avoiding any areas in the U.S. that are traditionally conservative - meaning, the midwest and southeast. So those of us in Missouri, tough **** - the closest that System is going to come is Texas. From there, they move to the east coast, and then to Canada.

*******s.

That's lame. What's the point in that, anyway? Are they trying to make a statement? They'd make more of a point if they went there anyway.

1.) Send them a Pissed Off E-mail!

2.) It's pretty dumb seeing as many states were had a pretty even split.

3.) They aren't coming to the Bay Area: Wankers!

They aren't avoiding any part of the US on purpose, they obviously can't get EVERYWHERE. They are just going to main US cities and places all over the US.
Think while it's still legal.

Apparently, there are no major cities in the midwest. Like St. Louis.

None of the cities mentioned are known for their extreme conservativism or traditionalism.

There are a lot of reasons why a band wouldn't tour in certain parts of the country, one being that this album that was just released is one of two: I'm sure after the next one is released later this year, they will go on tour again and visit different parts of the country.

Honestly, if they were trying to make some sort of political statement, explain to me why they would visit the state which is not only home to the president whom they don't support, but also commonly heald as a home of many of the conservative values which so many on the left see as negative.

Uh...the entire area they avoid votes conservative...doesn't that tell you something?

And Texas is just a good state to tour in. Brings in a lot of revenue.

Yeah, and i'm sure that the revenue of cities like San Antonio and Dallas simply have nothing on Chicago!

Attempting to make a political statement by avoiding conservative states but visiting Texas is like being a vegitarian but still eating hamburgers; it avoids a central part of the commitment of taking a stance.

Also, I'm sure they're not playing in cities such as New York and Boston for the same political reasons as they aren't playing so-called 'Bible Belt' cities.

The fact is, band's often tour in different legs. There are reasons why bands tour different places at certain times, and typically they are not politically fueled.

Perhaps it dosn't have anything to do with politics. Maybe they just have it divided up into differnt parts. When Metallica did their last tour, they stayed mainly in the northeast during the first leg of the tour, then went west during the second leg. I'm sure if it was politcally related, they wouldnt keep it a secret. Basically what Eversor said.
666, The Number of the Beast.
664, The Bloke Next Door.
Matt Bonner, The Lebron Killer
