Looking for an amp, about £500-550.

For the currency-challenged, the Marshall TSL601 costs about this much.

Combo amp, for playing in rooms and small venues, should sound nice at lower volumes as well as high volumes.

This amp any good? Any others?

Ok about $1500 US then.

Might definitely want to check out the Mesa-Boogie F-series amps.

WTF? Must be the importation or something, because the F-50 (~$1000 US) is cheaper than the TSL601 (~$1500 US) in the states.

that's because mesas are made in the US and marshalls are made in england and £500 is almost $900

and yeah marshalls are good but... what kind of music? planning on playing clean alot? TSL combos aren't the best for clean

i've never heard the TSL601 but someone i know has a TSL122 and i've played around with it.. good amp

I checked the price of the TSL601 instead of converting the currency. Silly me. :p
