I'm seeing Reel Big Fish on Friday. Yay! I've recently lost my emo edge because of these little ska shows. They're crazy. Everyone in the place is dancing and singing along. It's grand.
So yeah, anyone attending or even know who they are?
It took a while for you to find me; I was hiding in the lime tree.

I know who they are. A lot of my friends were into them in high school. I thought they had broken up.

Nope. They recently came out with a new cd, "We're not happy until you're not happy."

Sellouts. (Hehe, if you know the band, you'll get my joke.)

Just like the song! yay!
RBF freaking rocked and the merchandise guy proposed during one of the opening bands. It was so awesome. One of the bands was called something like "loose puss", and they were awful. The trumpet player and the drummer were both new. That was a wicked time.

For the most part, ska bands are horrible. When ska is done right, with bands like RBF, RxBandits, FIF, Mad Caddies, Planet Smashers, Catch 22, Streetlight Manifesto, it is excellent. But when it is done wrong...it is done WRONG.

I notice a severe lack of Catch 22 and Streetlight Manifesto and the Planet Smashers.
