Magnatune

I've liked Magnatune ever since I first heard of it, but their selection was small at the time. I visited the site again today though, and the selection is much, much better. I like middle-eastern inspired music, mostly Solace and Falik, but I decided to take a poke around their metal/rock section today. I can honestly say that there is some very good stuff here. Great talent all around.

I recommend listening to Cargo Cult, Atomic Opera, Seismic Anomaly, and Jade Leary just to name a few. I though I would share this treasue trove of cheap(!) music, which you can listen to (streaming) for free. Whole album's worth of music. Great site, check it out if you haven't already.

Wow, it has WAV downloads if you buy the album. Awesomeness.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that. If you can burn the CDs, I wouldn't recommend ordering a pressed CD. I did for my first album (Solace - Shawazaa), hoping to get a professional quality cd with an insert and artwork, but that's not what they send. They just send a generic Magantune CD in a clear plastic case. So yeah, downloading is the way to go.
