Instrumental versions of songs...

A few buddies and I are working on a smallish machinima movie, and I've found a BUNCH of songs I'd like to use. Problem is, the lyrics would cover and/or interfere with dialouge. So what/where/how do I go about looking for such things?

Quickie example... we decided parts of System of a Down - Revenga would be good for a car chase we're planning, but we'd like a copy sans vocals.

Possible? Or nae?

I've downloaded instrumental versions of songs by complete accident before, they're out there.

The karaoke market must get its material from somewhere.

I would say try to just edit the songs or choose parts of songs that have no lyrics. I was watching Dumb and Dumber and they had the song 'Mmm mmm mmm' in it. They cut out the music bridge of it so that the part in the movie had no lyrics.

I would say either:
- Cut out music parts
- Keep volume of music down during dialogue
or
- Find music with non-obtrusive lyricss (Sigur Ros, etc.)
