Zeppelin reunion?
2005-08-23, 8:05 PM #1
Ok, so last Friday night, I was browsing the internet on Led Zeppelin and I read something about a possible reunion!! Something about Robert Plant discussing it with Jimmy Page and it went over well. However, for the life of me I cannot remember what website this was. My history has been deleted and I cant remember much else because it was a long night of drinking...

Has anyone else heard anything???

There have been rumors of a reunion for s few years now. Dave Grohl has been trying to get them re-united so he can play drums on the tour.

Personally, I really hope they don't. They made a hell of a lot of good music back in their day, but getting back together and producing a bunch of plastic, manufactured music like Aerosmith did is gonna lower many people's respect for the band.

Aerosmith made some amazing stuff in the early 90s...are you talking about their latest latest stuff?

...then again bands like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd were always *way* better than Aerosmith and could probably still put out some great stuff. The Stones manage to do so.

I don't know... I heard the Rolling Stones' new single, "Streets of Love," on the radio the other day and it was pretty terrible.

Not necessarily that recent.

Have you ever really listened to the Stones?

They're pretty terrible. But thats what makes them great.

Well, Plant sure as hell hasn't aged gracefully.

They wouldnt necessarily have to come out with new material, they could just tour for a few months and make millions...Their bound to do it sooner or later

That was the plan, to tour, that is.

Robert Plante has a solo CD out and it's pretty good. Led Zeppelin, as a band, ended their run much too soon.

Ah cmon, the Stones ain't bad, I grew up with the Stones, Zepplin, The Who, all the old good stuff and the Stones are my favorite. Sympathy for the Devil, no matter how popular and mainstream it is, has got to be my favorite song of all time.
