Tool - Reflection
No Doubt - Magic's In The Make-up
No Doubt - Comforting Lie
REM - Everybody Hurts

The Tool song is just a great introspective, uplifting, and positive song. The two No Doubt songs seem like they were written about me, and then REM song makes me cry whenever I listen to it.

Modest Mouse - Lives
And it's our lives
It's hard to remember, it's hard to remember
We're alive for the first time
It's hard to remember were alive for the last time
It's hard to remember, it's hard to remember
To live before you die
It's hard to remember, it's hard to remember
That our lives are such a short time
It's hard to remember, it's hard to remember
When it takes such a long time
It's hard to remember, it's hard to remember:
My mom's God is a woman and my mom she is a witch
I like this
My hell comes from inside, comes from inside myself
Why fight this
Cheap Sex : False Pride (it's about racism, and I hate racist views, because I have some friends that are not "white")

Cheap Sex : Launch off to War (it has to be the best song against the war in Iraq)

Cheap Sex : Desperation (It's about how adults inability to listen to "todays youth"

As you can see, alot of cheap sex (despite the horrible name) songs mean alot to me, this is because I see them as one of the few mucisians that care anymore. They don't sing about love, they don't sing about how bad their day has been, they don't sing about getting laid. They sing about the stuff that means something.

Danny Elfman - Batman Theme
System of a Down - BYOB
Nirvana - Where Did You Sleep Last Night?
A3 - Woke Up This Morning

-Batman because it's sorta like a rock in my life, something to get me through rough patches: seeing Michael Keaton beat up Danny Devito and Jack Nicholson is soothing to me. BYOB just seems to me to point out a few good questions about the world of today, plus I like the arrangement. The Nirvana song is very dark and sorta has personal meanings for me. Woke Up This Morning appeals for the same reasons.
