if this is illegal, close it.

i need a drm stripper for purchased cd's. i bought a cd and it won't even rip properly to my hard drive.
the thing i hate about it is it's one of my fav bands (sloan). i hate that the cd has the drm on it.

well you can't strip DRM from a CD... because it's not really called DRM... it's copy protection

there are ways around it i can't remember any of them (none of mine are copy protected) so google would be helpful something like "bypass audio cd copy protection"

Any CDs I cant rip I give to a friend who runs Linux. I dont know or ask how he does it, but a copy of the CD always comes back in ripable form.
