I am recording some songs for a competition. One of the songs starts with a midi piano.

Anyways what I'm trying to do is get my piano to sound like "Look What You've Done" by Jet. Right now, it sounds too sharp and thick. I want a softer sound like the one on that song.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Like what I should set the equalizer to? Or effects to use?
