Holy crap. I'd heard the man before, I knew he was amazing, but today my friend lends me the CD...I'm awestruck. Broken Wings is one of the most powerful, sad, and at the same time beautiful songs I've ever heard and it's more lyrics than song. This man is a poet, a bard if you will, and his lyrics are genius. If you hate rap because it's too 'gangsta' or too 'thug' for you, then I suggest you buy this man's CD, and if nothing else, listen to "Hopeless" and "Makeshift Patriot" here.

Just felt like I needed to spread the word.

I've heard Sea Lion (not to impressive) before, but thats the only Sage Francis song I've heard.

I'm downloading Hopeless and the Patriot song as we speak, I hope I'm not disapointed .
