Indeed. I refuse to vote for anyone else.

Neil Peart kicks ***.

ZoSo: He's the drummer for Rush, and a major influence to most modern drummers. There's no excuse for him not to be on the list.

And Dave Grohl? WTF, man. He hasn't played drums in 10 years. There is nothing amazing about the drumming in Nirvana. It's good, but nothing particularly special.

Actually he played drums on the tenacious D album, as well as the occasional live show with them. He still drums often, just not mainstream. He's a great drummer, but yes nirvana's drumming wasn't. Just because a type of music doesn't call for awesome drumming doesn't mean the drummer isn't good. Any style of percussion that was much fancier than how Dave played in nirvana would have detracted from the music imo.

The rest of your post was spot on, big ups

I know He kicks *** Sorry!! :( I actually had him in, and then I forgot about Tommy Lee. I think dave is decent...Dont forget the fact that he writes and sometimes performs the drums on the FF albums

I realize I cant have everyone, but if I had these other people, I would get yelled at for not having the ones that are there now...

Your name is "Unknown User" and you didn't include John Bonham?? He has an incredible sound and was a highly influential drummer in the 60s and 70s for Led Zeppelin. At a live show he threw his sticks away and started drumming by hand...

John Bonham is incredible too. Listening to a live show from Led Zeppelin... his drum solos are awesome. He's definitely in the top 10.

I know, he would also play live versions of Moby Dick for so long, the other 3 would take a few smoke breaks.
I accidently hit Dave instead of John. But Daves no slouch either. He keeps it simple, but still makes it awesome(to me atleast)

Neil Peart wins... no question...

John Bonham and Jimmy Chamberlin are my other favs.

I don't know if he's the best, but I've always liked Mitch Mitchell's drumming.
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.
