Insurance

Where can I get all my gear insured for a decent price. I'd like a company that takes amount of transportation into consideration, especially since most of my stuff stays where it is (except for my guitar stuff). Small children have access to some of my more expensive equipment, and it makes me paranoid. People who don't supervise their children suck.

[I should mention I need something in the US. There seems to be plenty of companies in the UK, but they don't help me out too much.]

uh... no.

But I did find MusicPro insurance. They agreed to cover nearly $3,000 of my gear (including my laptop) for only $100 a year. Haven't actually purchased the policy because I need to add a few more things.

That sounds pretty decent, especially if there are no other competing prices for it.

I've got no experience with anything of the sort. I've got about $800ish in my guitar and amp, and that stays at home most of the time.

However, when i bought my guitar, I payed an extra $40 for a bunch of setups. Basically they'd fix it if I managed to horribly mess up the intonation somehow.
It took a while for you to find me; I was hiding in the lime tree.

I really should insure my gear. I've got about $12000 in gear in my apartment in a shady area of Montreal. :o

I wonder if I can trick them into insuring my car...

If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Lassev: I guess there was something captivating in savagery, because I liked it.
