I'm certainly not his #1 fan, but I enjoy his music to a certain extend. I've considered buying an album, but haven't as of yet.

I don' mind Bright Eyes. He's certainly not my favorite, and he doesn't play the kind of music I typcially like, but he's got some good lyrics. I do like "First Day of my Life". It's nice to hear a love song that has something original.

How much of his music have you guys heard? Each album is very different...I'd suggest listening to a variety of his stuff before really judging it...

My last girlfriend made me listen to it. I was like WTF and she was like 'indie is a hard genre to 'get'' and I was like WTF indie is different all over the place.

People seem to think indie is rock with pianos. A kid at school said INXS and Coldplay were both indie and I wanted to bite his ear off.

Genres are stupid.

Bright Eyes is alright. I didn't like Lifted, but Wide Awake is a good album.
