What if all of us guitar players and aspiring guitar players picked a song we like, and then we all record and submit our versions of it.

Then after everyone gives it a try, we vote on the best one...

We could do a song like eruption, something with just a guitar in it so we wouldnt need to add or record other instruments.

Any takers??

What if we made a short list of songs and then anyone who wanted to could submit some or all of them... we could just do it for fun and not vote if nobody wants to

If you do any RHCP it should be more pre-BSSM material. Frusciante's playing was much more involved back then. A lot of the songs have a few guitar tracks on them,layered, so it would be a lot better for a collaborative thing. Here's some suggestions

Subway To Venus
Sexy Mexican Maid
Stone Cold Bush
Good Time Boys

Subway To Venus would be cool, 2 guitars, plus some sax ( which someone could play on guitar ), so yeah. All of them are great.
