Ok, here`s my dilemma. I currently have plans to see Blue Man Group on friday in boston with one of my friends, tickets are usually $50 but for this date alone, Northeastern students can get them for $15. So thats $15, plus $12 both ways to boston, $27 total, if not more for food, etc.
Then on the other hand, the same friend is going to the George Clinton + Parliment Funkadelic show March 1st. Tickets for that are $23, plus tax, and because they're playing in Providence, the $2 bus ticket can get me there no problem. The only problem though is that it will be on a Wednesday, and I have class the next morning.
I don't have any money right now, and I can only possibly get enough money for one of these shows.
So on one hand I have BMG, which would be great. I've seen them once before, and it'd be great to go back and see them with much more appreciation for them than previously. Also, I dont know if i'll see tickets that cheap again, and I'd feel like an *** if I told my friend I wasn't going to go after we already made plans. On the other hand I have P-Funk, which would be a an experience I'll remember for the rest of my life. Who knows the next time they'll be touring, and it'd be great if I got more into them. They're one of the greatest bands in the past half century, and the same friend is probobly going to go to this show.
Any ideas?
