Some FL Studio songs

Finally uploaded some songs on my old Soundclick account....for the first time in 2 years.

Diminisher

The Song of Time remix is from a looong time ago (oct '04!), but the two tracks above that are recent.

So tell me what you think, especially of "Resurgence". I've been working on that song on and off since around new years. It used to be in smaller pieces until I realized, "Hey, I can just put these songs together for one big symphony!" It's quite an interesting listen. :)

Comments?

I'm listening to Resurgence right now. It's really cool. Is that your huge expensive thingy of soundfonts at work?

Thanks. Nope, it's actually made entirely with freeware soundfonts from www.sf2midi.com.

Anybody else? Comments would be highly appreciated. :)

(sorry for not being someone else, but at least this'll bump the thread)

Which soundfonts are those? I've looked around on the site and found some neat ones, but nothing that great sounding. I'm particularly interested in the brass hits and swells. Can you point 'em out or something? :)

I likey. Kinda reminds me of Nobuo Uematsu and Final Fantasy Tactics.

I admire you for making something that long in Fruity Loops. I have a hard enough time using the Piano Roll on short compositions.

This is the main soundfont used in that song. I also used this.

I also forgot to mention Hammersound, where more than a few of my soundfonts came from. For big orchestal drums, I recomend the Douglas Concert Timpani.

anywho... I'm tempted to post my stuff in the actual showcase forum, maybe I'll get more reaction.

Hammer sound is pretty useful, but I know of a far better soundfont library.

Ah yes, sf2 midi.

as for the song...

Wow, pretty damn good. you made all this with soundfonts?

Right now it feels like computer game music, i love the change at 1:10 minutes.
Sounds kinda tribal.

Awesome at 4 minutes, Danny Elfman style music!

Song is rather long, and seems to be more of a collection of classical pieces than just one song,.

Anyway

You got talent kid, I'll give u that.

Thank you much.

Hah, I've tried that mixposure crap. I got some okay feedback, but the whole website is utter bull feces. :)
