Lennon, duh.
Bassoon, n. A brazen instrument into which a fool blows out his brains.

It's gotta be Paul. Lennon was his equal most of the time, and has a few songs that tower above most of Pauls work. However, his lows were incredibly awful.

Hard to say. As far as the Beatles go, they are pretty much equal. The Beatles wouldn't have been the same without any one of them.

However, I liked Lennon's post-Beatles solo stuff the best. Minus Yoko. For instance, Double Fantasy was freaking amazing, if you didn't listen to the side with Yoko on it.

Harrison! Crap! He doesn't get enough credit for the great guitarist/songwriter he was. Besides, Something? Here Comes The Sun? Within You, Without You? While My Guitar Gently Weeps!?
The tired anthem of a loser and a hypocrite.

George really doesn't get enough credit. He was only allowed to have one or two songs on every album, but almost all of them were fantastic.

I voted for all of them, because I can't decide between John and George. Paul loses points for wanting to go solo.
