Guitar Purchas

I was going to put this in the music forum, but it seems (to me) that there are a few guitar players who don't post there.

So, I am in the market for a new guitar. But I'm wanting one to take places and practice.

I narrowed it down to two.

Vagabond Travel Guitar $444.00 USD before shipping

and

Martin LXME $319.99 USD before shipping

Both have pickups, both are more or less full scale and standard tuning, but the vagabond has 15 frets to the body. Then again, the Martin has a more full sound, so I can use it for more than just practicing.

So, what would, you guitar players pick?

Thanks.

I'd take the Vagabond for the unique design, but thats me

Martin all the way. Of all the travel guitars I've played, and even read about ( not magazines, books), the Martin's is the best out there. Labels aside, Martin has always delivered great products. Even low-end Martin are great quialty guitars. You can get the full acoustic sound and amplification from a small sized guitar already shaped like the ones you are used to playing.

of the two I'd probably go with the Martin

but if you're going to buy a guitar in that price range I would go with the Taylor Big Baby

It doesn't have an electric pick-up, but for the price the quality really cannot be beat
you can always get a pick-up installed later
yay for not posting much ever

No brand can beat Martin for any acoustic. (or Taylor)
