There's just so many better artists that sounded just like this... 30 years ago. It's like Motown meets Skynyrd. My classic rock kick ended in high school and it takes a really good band to take me back.

Plus, I hate 99% of all female vocalists and this one is definitely not part of that 1%.

I couldn't hear any of the songs, because my speakers aren't plugged in. And the page didn't load.

They seem pretty cool though!

They're excellent.

A modern British band that isn't metal yet also doesn't suck. A true rarity.

No, Buddy Holly is rock and roll.

Classic rock could be called 60's/70's rock, but it's not "just rock and roll". The closest we've gotten to getting back to "just rock and roll" is punk.

I just don't understand why everything these days has to sound like music from 30 years ago. I mean, it's okay, but it's like we are stuck in the 80s. :gbk:

It doesn't have to sound like music from 30 years ago, but at the same time it's not like making music with style from 30 years ago is a bad thing.

Also, the 80s was the greatest decade if you exclude bad clothing and mullets.

No. It's a mix between blues and rock, which I consider to sound like the music of the classic rock era. AKA, it's classic rock.

But rock is blues derived. How can it be a mix of blues and blues? :(

You talking more blues influenced than say, SotD?
