Help me define this type of music
2006-04-10, 10:12 PM #1
So I want Pandora to find me songs similar to "Hey Sandy" - Polaris... but it doesn't recognize the song or the artist.

Can someone help me define the genre that this song falls under? 80s/90s hip-rock is what I want to call it. Reguardless, I really want more. I love this sort of music. It just makes me feel good.

Allmusic.com calls it "jangle pop." That sounds correct to me.

Also, the band Polaris was started as a side-project by a member of the jangle pop band Miracle Legion.

I hope this helps.

Awesome, yeah. That helps.

Anyone else appreciate this sort of music? It makes me happy.

Sounds interesting, I'll check it out. I'm always looking for new genres of music to get into. :)
