Tool tickets sold out, less than 3 minutes.

Tool tickets went on sale at 10:00AM this morning. Me and my buddy woke up early to make sure we'd buy them the second they went on sale. After refreshing over and over again until the exact second they went on sale, got the "searching for tickets" page. It slowly went from a "Less than a minute" wait, to "Less than 3 Minutes", and they sold out, we got screwed. Sold out......3 minutes! So literally a few minutes after they sold out they were all over ticket sites everywhere, they had already bought out the tickets somehow, charging up to $500 a ticket. Finally we got a pair on ebay for $400 total, but still, I'm pissed off. Especially if they're doing such a small venue (Orpheum Theatre, Boston), you'd think they would make it exclusivly available for fans. There's some things you can't control I guess, but I don't know, I think it's terrible that one has to pay upwards of $400 for a single ticket that usually costs $66.

ouch. I managed to snag some tickets for the 2nd london date a couple of days after they went on sale. Only one site I found still had any!

Same for the Kansas City show. 55 bucks normally, now you can't find them for less than $175. I mean, I'd love to see Tool, but that's just ****ing ridiculous.

Tickets aren't on sale for Phoenix concert yet... at least according to Ticketmaster.

Interestingly, the site for the venue their playing at (ASU Gammage Auditoreum) doesn't have Tool listed on their calendar. Maybe it was a last minute booking?

Either way, I don't have the money. I'm hoping they'll go on another, larger, American tour after their overseas shows.

Many people are complaining about the sold out shows. Relax. Were doing a full on tour at the end of the summer which goes almost everywhere. And in the new year, well go almost everywhere else. These are just a hand full of warm up dates. Theres nothing much we can do to out wit the scalpers. If you have the patience, just dont buy the tickets from them. Just wait until August. Screw them. Believe me, if I could design a virus that would leave scalpers totally impotent, mute, and penniless I would. Same goes for lawyers. (I have a whole different virus in mind for mini vans. More on that later.)

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I was kind of dissapointed because it would be awesome to see them at a smaller venue, but really it's not a big deal.

Yeah, I kinda figured it wasn't a full on tour when it was announced so suddenly and they were playing in Gammage and not America West Arena... although it would be so bad *** seeing them up close in a small venue.
