I'm heading down to Tennessee this year for this music festival. There will be some awesome bands, some crazy times, some hot hippie chicks, and... any Massassians?

Erm Enjoy.

I looked through the artist list, and I don't think I've heard of about 80% of them.

Out of what I do recognise, I'd probably only want to see Tom Petty and Beck.
nope.

I was going to go, but not only is it $200 for a ticket, Banaroo wouldn't be as intimate as a regular club setting. Sure, it'd be great to see everyone play (one of the best lineups I've ever seen!). At the same time, when you do actually see them, you'll be 1000 feet from the stage, barely able to get up close even if you wanted to.

I REALLY wanted to go, but I have neither the funds nor the capacity. What most people don't understand is that 200 dollars buys you weekend tickets--3 days worth of music. Worth it in my book.

Atmosphere is supposed to play too I think. I remember there being a really good lineup, including Minus the Bear. And I could've seen Massassi's greatest storyteller there.

I have wanted to go since I heard the line up. Unfortanatly, getting there for me is not even close to realistic.

I feel like the club setting can get a bit drab after awhile. I mean, you're holed up in this often crowded room and the floor is slick with booze. At Bonnaroo, it's almost a Woodstock-esque setting (hopefully without the rain) and as for booze on the ground, soil is absorbent.

Also, since I'll be camping there, I can get to a stage as early as I'd like, so it's very possible to be able to get close for most of the bands if I'm so inclined.

I'm still debating about whether or not I want to go. I really really want to see Radiohead and My Morning Jacket but I'm not sure if it's worth $200.

And... I've seen Minus the Bear 2x now and they're not getting any better. Their songs are boring.

Schming! You should totally come, it's not even that far for you and I think you'd like a bunch of the lesser known bands that are playing, too.

Festivals and Clubs are completely different things, and theyre meant to be.

Clubs are about enjoying everything blah, you know the drill.

Festivals are about buzzing to music in the open air and drinking warm beer filled with grass with about 20000 others.
nope.

Looks good. I would pay $200 just to see one of the legendary Hanson brothers. [joke no one will get]

nope, I wish I could make it, but a buddy of mine Eli OMEGA! is going to be down there. Look for a skinny man with big sunglasses and a black bowler hat.

My girlfriend and I were hoping to go, but I'm thinking about buying a new camera instead. I'm not a big fan of Radiohead, but she loves them as well as Death Cab For Cutie and Ben Folds. I'm more interested in Nickel Creek and Sasha.

Then give me your girlfriend, because she's got taste. :|

My girlfriend is going....but I don't have the cash. But we're both going to Lollapalooza and I get to see My Morning Jacket at Summerfest (Milwaukee), so I'll see a lot of good bands this summer.

My manager and some of his friends are taking an RV and he keeps telling me "There's room in the RV for YOU!" and I'm like "Is there room in your wallet to give me $200?"

I get my paycheck on Friday, maybe I'll be able to swing it then.

and MY MORNING JACKET!!!!!!!! RAWR LOVE!
