Saw an ad in GuitarCenter's publication. Usually I just skim through it and trash the rag. Yesterday, however, I decided to go check out one of their sale items because I'm putting together a home studio and decided... "What the hell, might as well get a buy one get one pair of studio headphones and a free headphone pre-amp. Right?"

So, I was testing out the headphones' response by playing some tunes and then I loaded up Call of Duty for some MP action with these new babies. I've never had headphones that could reproduce that hair-raising bass effect you get from speakers. These things are AWESOME! Everyone, go now to GuitarCenter and get your pair + headphone preamp.

They are beyerdynamic phones, btw.

Beyerdynamic tends to be pretty awesome, what model did you get? I have the DT 880, and even at $225, they are arguably the best dynamic headphones in the world. Very neutral but not flat, dull, boring, etc.

Who needs headphones when you can drown out everything in a 2 mile radius with totally badass speakers? :cool:
