Edguy

There is a song on the new rocket ride album called Out of Vogue. It rocks. I have searched, searched, and searched some more for the lyrics. Every site appears to have these lyrics, EXCEPT for the first 2 lines of the song. WTF? The lyrics on about 10 different pages shows the 3-4 lines of the song but exclude the first two! Someone tell me what the first two lines say, i cant understand them!

First search result on google for: edguy "out of vogue" lyrics

Gives: http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/Out-of-Vogue-lyrics-Edguy/F38B86BD7C8437324825713F00123A97

Which contains lyrics much like those in the album booklet. The first few lines of the song are:

Jeer at him moving in slow-mo
Surrounded by a spirit entourage
so odd - inviting sneer
you ride the spinning wheel that's getting faster
outside they saw the passing centuries

Fantastic album though, Save Me and Superheroes are awesome too.

So, anyone else like Edguy since htis problem is solved? they kick serious metal/rock ***. Its like a mix of european power metal (with less flasy guitars=win for once) with the darkness type of party music. It rocks.

Also, why does my thread have a smiley?

So, since I'm sure none of you with the exception of Spe, Detty, Seb, and GothicX have heard of Edguy, I wanted to post these videos. This band rocks and they deserve to be recognized by more people >.>

Superheroes video

Lavatory Love Machine!

All the clowns

Take a look, I think you will find that you like them more than you think you would. They are easier to listen to than something like Dragonforce or Children of Bodom at least.

Holy mediocre, batman. That sounds like Bon Jovi.

Hair metal died a LONG time ago. Let it rest.

hm, that Superheroes vid seems to be lacking a lot of the dynamic range that the proper recording has.

Listen to any song off of their album 'Mandrake' (Specfically "The Pharoah", "Tears of a Mandrake", or "Nailed to the Wheel") and tell me they are a Bon Jovi!

VGO, Theater of Salvation, and Mandrake were the peak of them IMO. With Hellfire Club they started going 'Kiss-like' and Rocket Ride is definitely a light attitude.

Tobias is going through a stage right now - hopefully he gets over it.

I really like the new direction, the songs are more fun now. Like, All the Clowns, Superheroes, Catch of the Century, Lavatory Love Machine. I really like the new sound.

I mean don't get me wrong, I like Rocket Ride - Wasted Time is a killer song. It's an enjoyable album...

I just wish they kept that Mandrake heaviness sound. Making fun and 'stupid' (as in Lavatory Love Machine, Rise of the Morning Glory, or Trinidad) songs are fine, but don't make your entire album them (With a pop ballad).

Live though, Edguy are 2nd to none...

I like it. Reminds me of Masterplan, except not as awesome. Still good though.
Think while it's still legal.

"no, I do!"

"at least mine dress well!"

"Yeah but my bands kick the musical attractiveness of your bands"

"oh yeah?"

"Oh yeah!"

"we have deep lyrics about relationships!"

"We rock about ****ing girls in hotels!"

"oh yeah?"

"oh yeah!"

this could go on for ages. don't people listen to music for themselves anymore? do you really gotta ***** everyone who doesn't agree.
