new song/project i'm working on.

sorry for linking you to myspace but i really want to hear your thoughts on my new recording and if this sound/direction is something i should pursue.

it's a solo thing and everything you hear is either my voice or acoustic guitar.

i wrote and recorded this song last night and i really just want some feedback on it. it's by no means finished, this is just the first instance of pursuing this musical idea and i'm probably going to record a faster rock-version of this song tonight.

also, if any of you guys want to collaborate on some things, that would be completely cool with me.

Wow, this sounds totally awesome. It's not even halfway done playing and I love it.

I'm not sure I like the effects on the vocals at the end... kind of sounds out of place.

not bad, except for the annoying effects at the end.

thanks for listening to that one.

There's a total of 3 songs on there now. One I finished earlier tonight and then one I finished about 5 minutes ago.

Give me your feedback and criticism. These are just rough demos and I want to know what you want me to keep in there.

......and the last song "everything you wish to be" is kind of like... I'll be honest, I think everything up to the last part is cheese but the bridge vocals just clicked when I was tracking vocals and making up lyrics. I should rename this song "Dark Forces" just cause.

I like them, it's a really cool sound/style.

Brown Town Down would be better with bongos/tabla/other light percussion!

Ya, my band has been playing this one at our shows and it sounds killer with distorted guitars and everything. Thanks Vince for listening!

Neat, I like! Especially 'Shades and shadows...'

I think you have a good voice too. :)

Very curious how this would sound with a different arrangement (band/electrical, like you said).
