I had bought a CD a while back and decided to listen to it finally. It is an Obituary album entitled 'Frozen In Time'. As a rock/metal fan, I have heard about the band on quite a few occasions and the band were around in the mid/late 1980s. More or less around the time of Slayer, and early Sepultura. This was their lastest album and 'Frozen In Time' was released last year.
It has a duration of only 35 minuites but its full of great riffage and great screaming vocals. Great stuff, and considering that I had actully listened to Sepultura's 'Beneath The Remains' earlier in the day, its a throwback to days of 80's thrash/death metal. If only most new music released sounded like this
Heard of this album or any Obituary album at all - or did you recently buy a new music CD and what was it like - discuss
