So ive really gotten into some different type of music from what im usually to enjoy such as things like Daniel and Madman Across the Water by Elton John. Also, Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word. Some people will say its old folks musik but I have really come to enjoy the melodies of such things. Im asking to see what kind of other bands/songs are in the same styles? I really like the relaxation such as in Pink Floyd - San Tropez. Enhance my ears with such styles..

I dont know where to go from here. I have many Elton John CD from my parents but I want other things as well. I guess you could say these are ballads?

The first CD I ever bought was Elton John's Greatest Hits and it still gets regular rotation on my iPod.

More Elton John tunes:

Levon - this one is my favorite
Mona Lisas & Madhatters - It's like Levon but not as good
Tiny Dancer - ....I shouldn't have to tell you about this song, it's almost cliche
Burn Down The Mission - amazing chorus

other bands (with song recs)

The Kinks - 20th Century Man
The Rolling Stones - 2000 Man
The Who - A Quick One While He's Away
The Who - I Can See For Miles
Chris Isaak - Wicked Game
The Zombies - She's Not There

if you check out any of those bands and like any of those songs I can go more in depth.
