Awesome concerts I will probably go to

So between now and September, I'll likely be seeing Rush, Meat Loaf, Def Leppard, Sonata Arctica and Edguy.

I don't know about Def Leppard these days but the others are pretty much guaranteed to be :awesome:

Any RIT goons wanna go with me? SA and Edguy are in September so we could go from school.

Dud I know you want to see Meat Loaf. :awesome:

Can I fly over and see Def Leppard?
nope.

This summer will be incredible as far as concerts go. I will be seeing Roger Waters and Tool in early July at Summerfest in Milwaukee, followed by Rage Against the Machine in August and Rush in September. Should be :awesome:

Bought tickets for Snow Patrol who are touring here in September yesterday. Yay! This will be the fourth time I've seen them; the first time was in a bar with no more than 200-300 people, the second time was in a slightly larger bar with about 500 people, the third time was in Melbourne's main alternative live music venue with about 1500-2000 people, and this time they're playing Rod Laver Arena which is as close to Wembley as we've got out here - about 15,000 people. It should be a crazy different experience to the awesomeness that was the first tiny gig.

Hmm, I have some coming up (besides the shows I'm playing) .

To Die For and Virgin Black
ProgPower VIII (Big ones being Sonata Arctica, After Forever, Threshold, and more!)
Therion
Nightwish

I wish the Edguy tour was coming closer to the South-Eastern area, but they are not. Their webmaster lives here as well and is good friends with them. But no!

I've thought about that Def Leppard with Styx show, but I'm not sure on my schedule. I love Styx (even their current stuff), but DL has really fallen flat lately.

I'm genuinely surprised that they're not playing T this year, they've just brought out their new stuff and its the only decent big festival in their home country apart from Rock Ness.

Oh well, maybe they've yet to be announced.

/Hopeful
nope.

I'm hoping I might be able to see Sonata Arctica again this year when they come to London. I'd like to see Threshold too.

Going to Wacken Open Air.

Also saw Delain live last weekend; my God, even for a band with just one album out, their live performance surpasses Iron maiden by far.

I'm going to see Alice In Chains and Velvet Revolver in August.

Kill Hannah is also playing, so there is a SLIGHT chance I might get to meet Slash!

I plan on challenging him to a drinking contest I'll probably lose by dying.

This summer is going to be a little excessive...

Grace Potter & The Nocturnals @ Reading, PA
Cracker
Dr. Dog @ Philadelphia

(Lollapalooza)

The Smithereens @ Milford Oyster Fair :S
Cherry Poppin' Daddies @ Woodstock

... does this make me a groupie?
