Very... dark. But in the atmospheric was as well as lighting

If you aren't having anything like creepy enemies jump out from the dark, you might consider adding some ambient lighting to the are to reduce contrast and simulate radiosity.

that's so right though. more so than most people realize. and the things that are quite good usually end up as an argument thread because one guy posts something saying "BWA HA HA HA that's two centimeters off from the movies, loser!" (your SSD thread is a perfect example).

Eh, the SSD I made wasn't as accurate as I wanted, I just didn't realize it. Saxman does take things way too far though...

I was talking about attention and feedback though. Sometimes stuff that albeit quite good, has been done before and just isn't that good. Stuff that really is nice often doesn't get enough attention. My SSD thread is the exact opposite, it's got nearly five pages, more than anything I've ever had.

I heard JK shadows take a long time to get right, however it sure looks worth it in the end.

I still like JK better than JK2, finally someone proves that its still got some life in it.

I've made rooms that look exactly like that (almost) but I never got them the way I wanted...its really all in the texturing and lighting. Excellent job. I await its release eagerly
