But, but, but... it was along the same topic... why make a new thread?

The intention was never to hijack or "molest" the thread.

On one side however, it does give people more to comment on. Thus keeping the thread going longer. Thus showing more of his work.

Sorry if anyone feels that my objective here was bad. If the majority (or the author) dislikes it, I'll kill the img tags and start a new thread.

More to comment on? Geesh, start your own thread. Furthermore, you didn't even comment on my stuff. Bad mistake, Phoenix, bad mistake.

Perhaps, perhaps... What is a mistake in one's eyes isn't always a mistake in another's.

But since you decreed that I was in error, I'll pull 'em down.

By the way, your images are pretty good, how long have you been using photoshop? I see reasonably good potential there.

Whoa... that Hyperspace one is good.

I made one awhile back, sadly I lost the .psd for it.

If I may make a suggestion, have you ever heard of a filter called "Glitterato"? It does all sorts of star and nebulae effects. Very, very, fun to play with. That's how I made mine, and it was purely accidental. A nice blue nebula, cut out the black spots, copy layer 5 or 6 times, rotate each one, apply zoom filter, apply rotate filter, put layer underneath with stars on it, cut out black, apply zoom and rotate filters.

You seriously should make some of those into skyboxes for JK or Outcast. People are always snapping stuff like that up to use.

Nice, but it's pretty obvious that the hyperspace is clouds + difference clouds + invert + levels + radial blur + color + lens flare.

Pretty good. But the PS lens flair isn't. Trying learning techniques to make your own. Once mastered, they will look much better and way less fake.

Overall, very good. But please, less filters. I can't award as many redeemable cookay points for selecting options in a menu :-/

I haven't watched the hyperspace scenes in the Trilogy intently in ages, but wasn't there a bit of a flash just AS you entered Hyperspace?
