The Ship titled 'Cobra' from Horizon Divided.

Ober asked me to make some designs then model them, rather then try to use his lego-models for reference. I came up with this, a high speed, low weapon capability fighter. The ribs allow for maximum speed, and the wide fins provide stability from the harsh reaches of space.

Its a good model, just how the engines extend from the body, that little bit where they show doesn't look right. That would slow it down, screw up the airflow, thats the real world reason.

The ribs would also distrupt airflow over the fuselage in atmosphere and cause some serious buffeting and stability problems. Look at real life high-speed aircraft and they all have smooth surfaces with as few angles as possible.

And as a point of order, fins are unnecessary for stability in a vacuum because there's nothing for them to work on. Atmosphere yes, but there's no need for them in space.

looks pretty good. my only suggestion would be to add some detail to the fins, they look really plain compared to the rest of the ship.
