No, it's not a gundam.

Just a player model for a very small project. Should be finished by next week end.

it doesn't look like a gundam to me. it looks like an american robot, from one of those old movies, but gundams are cool, so do what you want.

uh... That's because it's a FLAT SHADED PICTURE. The smooth shaded is usually what you end up seeing, and, it's a little, because it's a robot.

Gah... can't seem to figure out how this rendering program works... blasted thing.

Well, back to the MS3D screenshots.

Finished a much better head, and lengthened the legs on Gebohq's request.

Anime mechas are cool ,but it's head looks more like one of an Eva than it does to a Gundam, for one Gundams have a trademark V-fin on their foreheads o.o(but then again Eva's technically aren't mecha)
But anywho... nobbad... would like to see a bit more detailing.

I completely agree Thrawn, it's only that for gameplay issues, and finishing the mod by monday, I'm calling it a gundam-like mod.

I agree. I like the mechas designed by Americans such as the ones from the MW series better than the ones designed by Japanese such as the gundams. My opinion is slightly biased due to my large amount of American pride but I like the American ones better anyway.

American robots tend to be more weapon-heavy because they aren't the icing on the cake, as robots are in japanese genres because they focus more on the storyline. American robots are the entire show.

Another thing about American vs Japanese mecha is that Japanese mecha is more flowing, more "organic," whereas American mecha is more realistic, more blocky.
