Excellent work on the architecture and choice of textures. It all comes together really well.

Yes, I've been following this map since the first day you showcased it. I'm really looking forward to it. I second what Emon said, and let me say that I like your attention to detail and things that enhance the SP experience.

Thank you for the comments so far. I know that as usual the maximum number of posts I will receive in this thread is going to be a little more than 10 in either here or Lucasforums. Massassi is leading against Lucasforums at 2 to 1!

This map is coming together nicely. Feels like a warehouse or factory of some kind. Are you thinking of making a MP version?

Will there be an animation when you climb the ladders? Otherwise it would look rather odd in 3rd person.

Omicron88 - I would make an MP version if JK2's Multiplayer Community was currently alive. It sadly is not. I used to be a JK2 clan gamer; CTF or Team FFA would have been perfect for an MP version.

Hard Driver - There is no animation. I am not experienced enough to make it happen. I know that other Q3 Engine games like Return to Castle Wolfenstein have ladders that even allow the AI to climb them. I don't think JK2 has that animation capability.

Nobody complained about lack of animations on ladders in JK, despite the fact that they were possible. Infact, people gawked at their awesomeness. No reason no complain and not gawk now.

Just a question... Would be nice if it could happen though.

Nicely done - the texturing and attention to logical light sources stands out. The architecture is sound, but there's something I'm noticing in almost all the shots. The detail seems a little out of scale - for example, the rims around the grating in 18.jpg. Maybe making everything but the basic room itself a little smaller in the future would lend it more realism.

I like where this is going, but I think it is way too blocky. I think just rounding some brushes might help, or even slimming some of them down. It just looks a little out of place compared to the rest of the architexture.

I think this looks quite better than a lot of LucasArt's interior architecture. Good job.

Thanks for the comments. Indeed, I have passed my former estimate of replies. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] w00t.

Sine Nomen - Yeah, I saw the rim issue, and I did some debating. I might resize it if it doesn't require to much work.

Blood Asp - I also see what you are saying relating to the blocky sense. For the most part, pillars have been rectangular prisms, lights have been some sort of trapezoidal prism, and there are other blocky trends I have been using. I will try to add more patches though.

This part of my map was an architectural mess, because I had to crowd everything into a surrounded space. That is why the area is primarily vertically extending. Hopefully I can get a pic of 2d view from Radiant sometime soon.
