yeah, get rid of the lens flare. also look at the bottom hand....the color doesn't seem to fit in. other than that it looks good.

As for the lens flare I don't know about that, I don't think a Photoshop Render/Lens Flare was the best thing to use, but I feel compelled to have some form of flare there...

The reason why the hilt needs anti aliasing is because it's just a view from MilkShape, and I couldn't be bothered to get a really big pic from milkshape and size it down.

Here it is in red, the next one might have some color correction and stuff!

I was going to mention the good work on the shirt. Just never got around to it. And no, Correction, I like the flare at the base of the blade as well. That's the way the lightsabers were depicted in the old movie posters..

how did you change the shirt color? I know in Photoshop, but walk me through the steps - might come in handy for me.

It was a lot of effort, I basically used the lasso tool to make a rough outline of the shirt, then went into quick mask and perfected the selection. Then I desaturated and dropped the brightness and contrast of it.

One question Jagged, I probably know 30 different ways to do so, but how did you achieve the light effect on yourself? More coherently, how did you have the saber appear to give off light?

A simple blur? A selection and then use of the airbrush? Tell meh...

Airbrush is easiest.

Maybe he had a big glowing stick and replaced it with a lightsaber in PSP. Then just changed the color to match the blade.

I just created a layer with the transfer mode set to "Color" and painted it on myself.
