Let's get past the obvious: It's geocities, if you want to give me some space, I'd be thrilled. It's Netsape WYSIWYG, I don't have time to learn advanced HTML or HTML formatting, and lastly, it's about things most of you people don't think I know a **** thing about. Let's ignore all that, and tell me how the site LOOKS overall.

overall, looks clean, effective, and to the point, nothing really ugly, nothing really jaw-dropping, so it's a good balance. color scheme works great too, maybe replace the wood with some riveted metal floor type thing.

There's this thing called "email" for one-to-one conversations

Here's my review:

[Scored out of 10]

• Design: 6.5 || Simple, fast-loading, but still alot of excess code in there that's not necessary. Slightly impractical - the "stacked-up" layout can cause trouble once you have more content. Display organization is ok right now but sort of weird because you have no dividers, which can cause sort of a 'scattered,' messy loo,.
• Aesthetics: 6 || One shade of blue over black = somewhat icky, and without dividers the stuff just looks randomly dropped/scattered onto the page. The content bars' brown/terra cotta color doesn't match the rest of the scheme.
• Content: 8 || It looks like you have a good start, keep adding stuff and it'll be worth visiting.
• Apparent Effort: 7.5 || I dunno, "advanced HTML" or "HTML Formatting" takes like 2 hours to get down... at most like 4 hours one day. Using a WYSIWYG editor is what I despise. Sorry, but I have to listen to my bias on this one
• Flow: 8 || Site flows very well. Easy to get to places, easy to get back, etc.
• Professionalism: 7 || This ties a lot into design, flow, and aesthetics, so basically it's a combo of the three ratings It doesn't have a professional look, but then again, it's not intended to (or so I assume). For what it was created for, it gets the job done with an ok presentability factor.

I may put it on there. I haven't got anything from my second and third semester classes on there yet. When I get back home this weekend I'll try and upload it. I just hope people take as much a liking to it as you did Jamebags ;-)
