I've actually removed them and placed it in water to see what that's like. I'll post screenies..

Maybe I'll release two maps, one of a ship, and one of an airship...?

Just tell me what you guys want. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

Could you make a Third version where you keep the propeller, remove the sails, and hang the ship underneath a big blimp(you could also add some really cool side sails)...

Then we could make it my ship, name it the 'Zephyrus' and have parties on it and pirate 747's with it... It would be so cool...

But seriously I think a version with a blimp and large side sails would look really cool (remember the episode of DS9 with the sail powered space ship, like those only made of canvas)... and you certianly have the skill to do it...

I hate to admit it, but I DO remember that DF9 episode. yeah, yeah, fine... If that's too much work I'll just let YOU do it.

Ok. all the ships i have seen have one big sail instead of those 3 small ones. Just a thought... because i dotn see how those tiney ones can catch anything.

Oh yeah...

<opus[wrar]> Cazor: I will, if you comment on my thread... but you have to actually COMMENT, not just quote what I'm saying right now...

HAHAHA I DID BOTH!

The other sails do catch wind, and add stability-y-y-y-y.

Dang... this is like, the never-ending soda.

btw, in case you can't tell, the masts & sails are at about a 15 degree angle, they aren't perpendicular to the keel.

I think this is starting to look too much like an old sailing ship. I know it has propellers sticking out the sides and whatnot, but be creative!

You had a great idea going with the airship idea, but now it looks like something made with Legos. Make the sails more exotic or something. It just looks too plain.

...ok...

In case you didn't read the above posts, I removed the sails, and put it in water, and made it much more like an 'old fashioned sailing ship'...

dunno where you got that lego crap.

But yeah, I agree for some part... so here's a lame story to cover it: It's an old smuggling vessel disguised as a family's restored ship that is used by some obscure guy to transport cargo to a hidden launch pad on an island! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

I think the front triangle-type sails are too small. And the front of the ship should curve in. It looks like a big block...
