I re-did all the canon textures, and changed the angle on the corners of the wood for you.

also, does anyone know how to make the canons so you can use them like the eweb canon from mots?
you could pick up some canon balls, activate the canon, and turn it to aim and fire..

You know... i knw nothing about this... so i shouldn't even say it, but i guess you could just take that model of the cannon and repleace the filenames of it with the eweb cannon so then with a mod activated, there would be the cannon in place of the eweb?

Well, i just looked at the cog for the eweb, and it has something about switching to an internal gun mode... i dont know anything about making those..

You could also make it so that you can simply make them fire a cannonball by hitting space, which then explodes and causes damage to anything near it.

then he wouldn't be able to move the angles though... (unless maybe there was a switch or a patch of ground on the sides that you could activate or something...)

oh, and yeah.. I liked the darker cannons better... though actually those look good, but you should put some blackened spots on them near the muzzle so they look like they've been used.

I feel like I've set off a trend here. Everyone is making levels with two bases on either side of a canyon/river. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

It looks fantastic. I wish I could do that. The cannons are fine the way they are. Actually, some dark smudges on the end would be nice.

I have some suggestions about the e-web part. You could use the e-web cog and replace the sounds and models, but you have to change a few things. You need to slow down the movement of the gun, 'cause a cannon isn't as easy to move around as an e-web. You also need to limit the range of motion, and I'd suggest adding a rear support structure to the cannon model.
You'd pretty much have to make a mini-mod for your map.

1. I was under the impression that this is JK. If so, you can't use the E-Web COG because it's not only illegal, but won't work in JK.

You can use this cog.

Just make yourself a cannonball template, and place the ghosts right in front of the cannon. Make sure to find "+raildet2" and change it to the name of your cannonball projectile.

Note, I changed the Surface in symbols to thing, so you can activate your cannon to trigger it.

The cannon itself doesnt move, but the direction the projective is fired does, so if there is somebody in your view, it will shoot towards them.

But the large impact of a cannon ball to the ground is large enough to create the sensation, if not more, of an explosion, and certainly LOOKS like an explosion.

Descent Pilot hasn't talked to me today, so we'll see when he comes back on how the cog looks.

I will!! :anger: just give me some time.. my projects ARE coming along, I did some more work on the Highschool today. But unfortunately, I'm leaving for a 2 week trip tomarrow morning, so little will get done.
