I just finished an SP level that takes place in ancient Rome (kind of a gladiator, swords and sandals-type adventure). Anyway, if anyone wants to give it a try and let me know what you think, I'd love to hear any comments or feedback. It can be downloaded here:

Hey thanks much for the comments.

Someone was just telling me that some of the NPCs had force powers (grip, saber throw, jump, push, etc.) Did anyone else have this problem? I stripped all force powers so I'm wondering if it's a bug (or some conflicting mod this person had).

I cant get it to work. I put the folder in gamedata like the instructions said but it will not show up in the mods selection. Can anyone help?

Do you have the latest JKII patch? I heard the "mods" button doesn't work right without the latest patch or something.

Otherwise, just make sure the "Colosseum_v1_0" folder and its contents are in "Gamedata".
Should work.

Overall, it's very nice... I assume you didn't have time to replace stuff like the Tavion model? Understandable, I bet you had a deadline of sorts.

One thing that would have been cool is blood that stayed on the ground. Could be done right in the EFX for the blood... I'd use it, but blast, my stuff is SW, there's so little blood...

Someone in another forum suggested a better blood mod (with little droplets that stick on the ground). If I can get permission, I might use it for a later release.

I would like to do a MP version, but just not sure when I'll have the time. I may also just wait to see how much of it I can convert to Jedi Academy MP (and for later SP levels).

In doing so and in reading your comments, you have forced me to click the link to download the level.

Now I have to wax my modem. Shame on you people.

So I have to get the latest update? What is it now... 1.04 or something? I ditched it about 4 months ago because I hated what they'd done to parts of the game. 1.02 or whatever it was shipped as was good enough for me.

God... I haven't bothered to download anything JO related in months.

I actually don't think you need the patch...if the "mods" button doesn't work in JO 1.0, you can always just create a shortcut and launch directly into the mod:

Change the "target" of the shortcut to:

C:\Program Files\Lucas Arts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\jk2sp.exe + set fs_game Colosseum_v1_0

Yea... I uh... clicked the d/l link, waited 5 minutes for it to bring up the dialouge asking where to stash it, did that, it started d/l. I came back an hour later to find the computer locked up.

I think I'll be asking a local friend with cable to grab it and burn it to CD for me...
