Here's some shots of an upcoming mod I'm working on with some old friends, called Katana II: Agents of Chaos. All I have done right now are the skins of the main characters. If you don't remember, the original skin pack was the Katana Fleet Mercenaries which can be found here.

Dark Rising

Skins look cartoonish and like they were cobbled together from other skins. Wouldn't mind new models either. The animations in the last shot look nice.

Oh, and about the names... What's up with the stealing of the LotR names, and why does Caedmon look a lot like Cave_Demon? Oh, and it's spelled wookiee.

It's only spelled "wookiee" if you're George Lucas or someone really obsessed with star wars (like one of those guys that dresses up like a storm trooper everyday). But to the rest of us, we've adapted our own spelling.

Uh, not really. Wookie is just a common misspelling. Since it has a wookiee in it, I'm going to go out on a limb here and *gasp* say his mod is for Star Wars! Most developers don't want spelling mistakes in their work, so I let him know about it. There's no reason to get nasty.

All the characters are from our Katana clan, so the names of the characters are the names they picked, not really my choice.



And the wookie thing has been debated for years, but novelization of Star Wars spells wookie both ways which implies that they are equivalent to one another and both are valid spellings. If George Lucas had a problem with that I'm sure wookie would be spelled with two e's.

I really don't see anything too special here, though. Just some pixelated skins and been-there-done-that animations.

http://starwars.com says wookiee, and every book I've read says wookiee, and every other offical source I've seen says wookiee... Well, whatever, doesn't make a difference to me.
