Not only could you port it directly, but you could recreate it in a matter of minutes.

WHY on God's green earth, would you want it to stop?

They're fun to play. Especially with grapple mods. IWP2 owns in right at all of them.

I won't want him to stop until he gets to DT 10, or he flat runs out of themes. When he gets to ten, he better release a pack with all of them... O_o

Hmm. More snow. And put snow on the platform textures. And make them slippery. Heh heh heh.

But others do. I'm sure if you gave the OK to port DT # to JO, someone would do it.

No one can do DT quite like Flexor can.
DO NOT WANT.
2003-07-13, 4:22 PM #25
No one else SHOULD do DT. It would almost be sacrilege.

A port to JO would be cool, but everything is different. I don't think it'd be nearly as cool.

Wow...another one...crazy...I can now start to assume you're running out of ideas for these freakin things. BTW, i gorgot which one it was but I like the one where its like the blue earth w/ the clouds that you're over. Just the special effects are worth the play. Its awesome. But I can't work on my editing skills cause I also just cracked my CD. I think I might but it off my friend [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]. But these are great levels. Unfortunately, you make so many of them that they just take up space in my Levels pack thingie area select. So once you come out w/ DT X (DT 10) then make a level pack. Or go back and make a DX version like all the systems are doin now. PLZ! YOU JUST GOTTA!

Agreed. Low grav, which is essential in DT, is like swimming thru the air in JO. Just not good.

Looks like build hacks with pretty textures. I'd suggest taking the time that it takes to keep making these maps and release something of quality. I'm quite suprised that you haven't bored yourself silly already.

He's right! All I do is make a bunch of boxy squary 3dos and stick them in a large sector in a newbie-esque fashion. And still you people worship me like somesort of godly editor, while I could never make a level as architecturally complex as spiral's laboratory for instance.

If anything you're worshipped because you can make boxy 3do's in a giant skybox look good. That's what matters right. Who cares if you don't have jaw dropping architecture, the Dark Tempest series are majorly fun death match levels.

No, his levels do have great architecture, just not overly done. Enough to drop yer jaw, but not enough to hinder gameplay and fps.

Plus, who doesn't like fighting for thier lives on a bunch of thin floating platforms about 500,000,000,000,000,000,000 miles above some planet's surface?

I personnally like the surface in DT 6(er...gas) of the planet....maybe you should try one of Earth! or you could maybe switch it up and try to make a space station like one. That'd be cool, as long as it wuld be open.
