The Canyon Oasis Clone!!!

Still thinking of a name, was thinking about something like "Cloneyun Oasis" since it uses the same theme as CO, but if anyone else has any suggestions?

Now for some other questions:
1. Is it worth finishing and releasing?
2. What do do you think needs to be done to it to make it better?
3. Is this enough questions?

Well, the Canyon Oasis clone "Can Yun-o Ace This?" made the 4th level pack, so if you worked on this, made tons more secret passages, more fancy architecure, it would be well on it's way to being the 5th (?) level pack. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
DO NOT WANT.

It looks like a fairly good start, Stormtrooper.

I'd recommend downloading Massassi Level Pack 4 and checking out DeTRiTiC-iQ's "Can Yun-O Ace Is?" It uses the same concept as you are trying to do and might give you some good ideas.

Thanks for the complients, I didn't know there was a CO themed level in MLP4, thanks for pointing it out to me.

Hrmm, it seems that the pics are down... probably because I accidentally uploaded a 2-meg file instead of the right ones....dangit.

[EDIT]Nevermind the last comment, they're back up now.[/EDIT]

Don't forget lighting. I will kill you if you don't light it properly.

Remember, above all else, gameplay and flow are the most important things if you plan on making a vanilla-JK style map.

As everyone above said, gameplay is the largest asset of a level, it can look good but still not be any fun, play around with it until you think it has a nice, fun flow. And light it if you can, I've tried lighting gigantic levels like CO before and it can be very tough...

Fix the DFLT or die at our hands. :P

Yeah, do lighting too :P

Looks pretty good so far. but it looks too... busy. Open it up and spread everything out a bit if you can.
