This is my upcoming map i just started 20 minutes ago. As you can see its only one room so far but i need comments to see if i need to redo any part of it.

Very nice, although you should really make two seperate walls instead of copying and rotating the first one It's kinda easy to see that they have the same holes in them. Like the lighting.

[edit: Not as in, the lighting has holes in it, as in, I like the lighting. Erm, yeah.]

Can I ask what the theme of the map is? An old mansion? A deserted mine?

I like the way the textures give a worn look, lamps look cool, too.

brushes are not the same and there are 3 diff holes so yes 2 are the same (little one)

Theme is... well... i was bored and started to make this so im not sure what the theme is. All i made was a basement looking hallway that is torn up and beaten. I just started on a second room and sure ill get another shot. *takes a shot*

I might cancel this map because of a staircase problem. I made the stairs one unit long on accident and I have to delete allot of stuff to fix that. If someone could test these stairs soon, im ready now, id appreciate it.
