Adding graffiti (Grafitti? Graffitti?) would take care of the cleanliness. Just make 3 or 4 cars so that it doesn't get repetitive.

I would make some clean ones and dirty ones. Someone could use the clean ones for an early 1900's theme.

subways don't always have to be dirty, ever been to Washington D.C.? Their subways are spotless.
I think the dirty subway stuff is really getting trite.

Well, living deep in the suburbs, I can say I've never seen a clean subway. Granted, I've not seen a subway at all[/b], but I don't think that's the issue at hand.

1. How do you make transparent windows for a mat?
-You can make a hollow subway 3do that you can go into, therefore cutting out windows... whatever

You can simply clip the trains along the window edges and select the window brushes and apply the glass shader to the windows. Easy!

I don't buy it, it's too flat... mind you I'd never just use a texture to create an illusion, that goes beyond suspension of disbelief. Looks like a good start, but I wouldn't use them like that.

I agree, they are just a little too clean, anyway you could add a grimy/dusty look to them?

Not bad, but you should add some texture to the metal, and some randomness to it. Unless it's brand spanking new, and never been tested, there will be some texture and dirt to it.

They're decent, but add lots of dirt, lots of noise, they're far too clean. Add some dirt around the dents, add more dents, and so on.
