Here is an m4a1 that I am messing around with, just seeinng what sort of damage I could do.

Anyways the stock, top handle / sight is NOT FINISHED. The main part of the body, handle, front grip, front sight, and barrel are complete. Its modeled in milkshape.

I think what's really impressive is that you modeled it in Milkshape. Milkshape is very inefficient and not too powerful, I'm suprised you don't kill yourself when using it.

I love milkshape and while it isn't very powerfull, it's capabilities, when in the proper hands, are very evident.

Milkshape can pretty much do anything, because you make make vertices and faces on the most basic level. The expensive 3D modeling software just makes it much faster and easier. Those ridges on the top of the gun near the trigger group could be done literally in seconds in 3ds max, where as it may take quite some time in Milkshape.

JK couldn't possibly handle the detail on that gun.. Heck, i doubt wether HL2 or DooM 3 could handle this...

Yeah, JK can render extremely high poly models, just maybe not as well as a "better" engine might.
