Looks great for your 3RD model, but it's a bit messy, and it looks like you've got a lot of unfinished surfaces that need closing up. Lastly, the EC is not for a picture of a cadilac, The IC is.

Just noticed something: Hit Ctrl+m, this smoothes the shading MS3D sucksobad at, now take some more shots, and take some flatshade shots too. Also, see if 'Show Backfaces' is on.

Turning off backfaces simply makes the model that much more viewable. Backfaces appear from certain render-points when you've got two surfaces back to back, or you've got ACTUAL back faces.

I like the model, though it looks a bit... messy.

It has no body lines. Cars dont look good without body lines, trust me, you NEVER see a car without body lines, at least a factory made car you dont.

got rid of the fins, i felt they were 2 old for this car so i made it all sloped down.

Fortunately Emon, I could care less if I make grammer errors because I don't have a stick up my *** like most of the people who post replies on these forums.

Sure Jedi Knight is old and most of the people have moved on, but I'd wager that the main reason this forum barely gets any traffic anymore is because of the arrogent, haughty behavior of most of the people left here. Keep it up, soon you'll be by yourselves.

besides the stupid feud on grammar, so u guys think i should go back the the fins... hmm and could someone explain to me some tips in milkshape such as smoothing groups and such cuz i really have no idea, all i know is vertice here, here, and here; make a face and yeah...

Smooth shading blurs along surfaces to give a smooth appearance - a common technique even used in Jedi Knight.

However if you blur all the surfaces you can find surfaces that should be flat which look rounded. The solution is to group the surfaces you want to be smooth shaded. These are smoothing groups. So what you'd usually do is select a panel of sorts made up from surfaces you want to look smoothed and then assign them a smoothing group.

If two sets of surfaces don't touch you can assign both of them the same smoothing group, which means you can reduce the amount of smoothing groups you use.

I'm wondering; do you have Vice City? If so, there's a pretty good low rider car in it (Haitian gang car), you might want to take a look at that.
