Ignore how thick the smooth mesh screenshot makes the "pointy" part look. I can assure you they are a referenced size.

And dont post screenshots, there really is no point. if this was an actual human I wouldnt complain, their characteristics have an exact continuity, but comic characters do not...unless drawn by the same artist (and adam kubert will always be the best).
But that really doesnt matter because im using one of those new super posable action figures for reference (it is extreamely detailed).

But apart from that thanks for your guys' comments and increasing interest [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Just an update, all thats left are the claws and belt for this part of the model. Which brings me to my plans for this. Im going to try augments for the head to turn the mask on/off to show his hairy head and have the folded mask laying on his back. Also the sholder pad things, his claws and belt will be able to be turned on/off for more variety in the model.

Anyway heres the updated screenshot:

Cyclops is much less of a dork when he's a rippling musclebound sex machine (comicbook iteration). Yeah, and Jean likes it like that.

Amazing work!

JA seems to offer the option of models to be a addition of a player skin. Kinda like how poser has attachments for clothes etc.. In fact, if you have played X2: Wolverines Revenge. Good in model refrence. Sad but somewhat challenging game, I'd recomend using it for refrence.

BTW, Emon.. You have replied to a Aaron on the JO support forum. He is a buddy of mine and we are working on a mod together. When I mentioned the wall climb/cliff hanging, he is the one who is doing that. I basically am the graphics, modeling, mapping/scripting, and sounds guy.

This is to Emon, Salvation, Kirby, Jedi, Thrawn. You 5 are very good mappers/modelers. If you guys made a mod, boy I would think that would be a sweet one!

I myself have weapon models done, Quite a few actually. 1 player model with a skeleton. I will however be working on a MP mod. A Counter-Strike/Rainbow6/NavySeals/SOCOM TC into one.

Hopeing to post shots anytime soon, I will when I am done putting together a collection of files onto a burned cd. May take a day or more but its worth it [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]. I will also be available to help others with model/ing etc.. or a military advisor. Aye I am a army grunt!

nonescence!

you have high potentials for the ability to make wicked models! I have experience with graphic modeling firms, and some collage training. Plus the army opens up alot for use of coding. Heck, I would support you seriously on the ninja turtle mod! That would rule! Be Don, Raph, Mike, or Leo.

Raph is possible to re-make the hilts. Mike, errr... if I had the tools to re-animate a new weapon feature in SP, Possibly impossible to do. Gotta love to hate it eh?

I just think he should have a groin is all. The rest of the model is perfect, but he's got no groin.

Theres more to being a super mutant hero than having huge Knadgers Jag.
Code:
if(getThingFlags(source) & 0x8){
  do her}
elseif(getThingFlags(source) & 0x4){
  do other babe}
else{
  do a dude}

He has NONE. It would only take about 6 polys to give him a believable groin. Just look at your reference!

Well, I see ive been gone for far to long, as ive noticed some new modelers around the community [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Here are my tips/crits:

1.)Body needs to be more muscular
2.)The body doesnt seem to be very "anatomy friendly" for this character, speaking from the offside view.

Other then that, it looks good.

An honor to be among the names of such great modelers, and a shock as well. But there are many more modelers in this community that deserve attention, My two modeling friends, mentors, and teachers: Retired SuperS51 and Hellcat. JennyKitty, trained by Hellcat, Just to name 3.

The model is, as Jenny said, not beefy enough, and I'm also sensing the lack of proportion in the body. I'm also really dispising the open mouth, just looks... strange. Other then those few gripes, I bow to such excelence.

Um...I was never trained by Hellcat, I taught myself how to model for 7 years now, well, it will be 7 years after new years. Hellcat taught me how to do weapon skins [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif] (Thank you btw Hellcat).

Anyways, yea, great to see all of you again, old friends, as well as new people, who I hope to get to know better over the year(s).
