Not sure why, but it works, since the Karlots are bugs....
This is a Unity Hovertank. Covered in thick plate armor, and features a heavy, forward mounted cannon. To combat infantry, it has two turreted dual cannons. It will often just ram through infantry, though, which may be impaled on the long spikes or the short spikes covering the ingress/egress hatch. carried into battle by Unity Landers or Assault Mechs [not modelled yet, but designed].

The modeling is great, but the desine seems to be lacking something.

haven't coutned polies, but it's relatively low. I don't think I'll be making much if any change on this design... I don't feel likethere's anything missing at all. Maybe it's just the pure simplicity of it that you're feeling.


And what's a reaver?

I own starcraft, but really haven't played it much.

A Reaver is the Protoss equivalent of artillary. Essentially, it uses small explosive robots to kick butt. Nice model, GeneralRamos, but is it supposed to be organic, as in grown, or is it built? Just curious.

..that cannon looks midsplaced; in case there aren't any other cannon's on the vehicle (I don't see any), then a small sized enemy would bew able to chop em into tiny pieces within seconds!!

Looks awesome. I got only one suggestion, shorten the canonpipe. This way the craft will be more suitable to ram enemies and cause serious damage with the spikes. Now the canon sticks out too much and it would only be able to ram smaller vehicles.

The spikes are for ramming infantry. If it rammed another armorred vehicle with the spikes it would probably do more damage to the spikes then to the other vehicle and i think it would look kinda stupid if the cannon was shorter

Bingo.
Spikes for anti infantry use, it wouldn't be able to pull out of the vehicle it rammed, it pretty much only has forward propulsion, no reverse. And yes, they are not strong-tipped spikes meant for AV use... like on the cutter. There are two turrets mounted on the sides, as Omicron kindly re-itterated. Each turret is mounted with dual light cannons (Anti-infantry). They usually operate in atleast pairs, to cover each other, since the turrets' only movement is a minimal pitch range- no yaw. Plus, it can carry a few troops as a backup.
